Peculiar Foundation Model School Mbodo Aluu, began to operate on the 10th September, 2017, when OHAZURUM INVESTMENT LIMITED led by SIR, CHIEF CHRISTIAN WIKE who decided to venture into educational training of pupils to complement government's effort. Twenty six pupils started in first term by the end of the second term we recorded fifty pupil and within a session the population grew to seventy two pupils.
The Management organizes series of workshop/seminars for teachers every term and sends teachers out for workshop to upgrade their knowledge to enhance better performance and be able to face the vigour in th new trend of education.
In 27 May, 2008, children's day, the management organized a program titled "MAKIG A TOTAL CHILD". Some parents came with their child/ward, they were encouraged with the programme. The management went into MORALS AD BIBLICAL teachings to make the pupils/students better and total children.
By the second academic session, the population increased, we started going for excursions. By second term, we visited NIGERIA AIRWAY, PORT HARCOURT of OMUGWUA, where some of our pupils saw airplanes landing and taking off for the first time. By third term we visited orphanage home at Borokiri Town, Port Harcourt. The management supported them with food, items and our pupils also borught some gift items. We have also visited Etche orphanage home, NATIONAL TELEVISION AUTHORITY (NTA), Port Harcourt, Mgbuoba, Port Harcourt Zoo, and Choba Indomie Company Limited.
The management began her Junior secondary school and her first annual inter-house sports from 2009/2010 session, seconda annual inter-house sports 2010/2011, third annual inter-house sports 2011/2012 sessions respectively. The management remembered that Peculiar Foundation model school is a school of standards that needs to be approved by th government of Rivers State. The management embark on school approval in 2011/2012 which involved a lot of money in the Local Government (IKWERRE L.G.A) and moved to the state approval which contained buildig of standard classrooms to contain the pupils/students.
It also requested that the school have Biology, Chemistry and Physics Laboratory and also a conducive library for the school, which head the completion of the school's new building which is in process. The management decided to introduce the Peculiar skill and development scheme, the management by God's special grace has commenced this program.
